What I Drink Everyday Without Fail

I’m totally a creature of habit once I make something a habit.  This product has taken years to attain the title of “habitual” + “without fail.” 

I began to use a greens powder when my first daughter was born 15 years ago.  A friend, shout out to Alicia Bedwell for this, suggested a daily greens powder when I was struggling to keep up with nutrition and a newborn and moving homes.  I drank it every day religiously until one day I ran out.  We were traveling and my 5 month old daughter was extremely constipated.  I connected that the lack of greens in my diet, because I was breastfeeding, was affecting her on a HUGE level.  There it was...the correlation I needed.

According to Healthline, “greens powders are dietary supplements that you can mix into water or other liquids.  They typically have a green hue and may taste grassy.  Natural sugar substitutes may be added to improve flavor.  Greens powders typically contain 25-40 or more different ingredients, which vary by brand.”  If you’re like me and struggle to consume 25-40 different fruits + veg in a day, then greens powders may suit you well too.

  • Reduce inflammation
  • Detoxify the body
  • Promote healthy digestion
  • May reduce cholesterol or symptoms of arthritis
  • Reduced sugar cravings

Because I consistently consume these powders now, I personally have experienced an increase in much needed energy, the ability to fight viruses like a ninja, and the knowing I’m doing something good for my body…positive mindset is half the battle.
